GoChi & Himalayan Goji Juice: Our Report Continues
Fake Spectral Signature
Check out the yellow squiggly line on the illustration at right.
This is FreeLife's much touted "Spectral Signature" that they put on bottles of GoChi and Himalayan Goji Juice.
We were told repeatedly by FreeLife goji distributors that this line is the spectral graph that shows specific LBP-1, LBP-2, LBP-3, and LBP-4 polysaccharides exist in their juice.
However, in a recent goji meeting (on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, where our story started), Rick Handel admitted that their famous Spectral Signature label is not a true graph from any spectral signature analysis. It is really an artist's drawing.
We were shocked, as this is not how distributors had presented the "Spectral Signature" to us when selling the goji juice.
On page 39 of his book, Goji, the Himalayan Health Secret, Dr. Earl Mindell goes even further. He shows the famous "Spectral Signature" complete with light wave lengths and absorbance figures; he makes it all look very official and scientific. He labels the "graph" with the heading "Ideal Spectral Signature."
We had trusted the distributors; even long after this site went live, we believed the graph was a real spectral signature.
