Spectral Signature - GoChi Himalayan Goji Juice

FreeLife's "Spectral Signature" is not a real graph.

It's actually an artist's drawing.

GoChi & Himalayan Goji Juice: Our Report Continues

Fake Spectral Signature

Check out the yellow squiggly line on the illustration at right.

This is FreeLife's much touted "Spectral Signature" that they put on bottles of GoChi and Himalayan Goji Juice.

We were told repeatedly by FreeLife goji distributors that this line is the spectral graph that proves specific LBP-1, LBP-2, LBP-3, and LBP-4 polysaccharides exist in their juice.

However, in a recent goji meeting (on the island of Kauai, Hawaii, where our story started), Rick Handel finally admitted that their famous Spectral Signature label is not a true graph from any spectral signature analysis. It is really an artist's drawing.

This is not how distributors had presented the "Spectral Signature" to us when selling the goji juice.

How Dr. Mindell spins the story:

Check out this page in Mindell's book entitled Goji, the Himalayan Health Secret:

Goji, the Himalayan Health Secret, by Dr. Earl Mindell

Dr. Mindell's Goji Bible also tells other "whoppers" that include radical and unproven health claims

Notice how Dr. Mindell showcases FreeLife's "Spectral Signature," complete with official-looking wave lengths and absorbance figures; he makes it all look very proper and scientific.

He doesn't hesitate to label his artist's drawing as the "Ideal Spectral Signature."

"You might not be able to analyze it," Mindell says, "but it will tell you something about the quality commitment of your goji supplier."

We agree on that. A fake spectral signature does tell us something about quality commitment.

Our advice:

Beware of salespeople who come bearing graphs.
