breathe For the price of a $50 bottle of juice, you could feed, educate, and provide medical relief for a child for two months. Source: Christian Children's Fund
I have been thinking about taking the monavie juice & would like to know your thoughts on the monavie product? L.K. How about the new kid on the block, amalaki juice? L.H. breathe We recommend a diet of fresh organic whole foods. There is no shortcut for good health and nutrition, and there is no such thing as "health in a bottle."
breathe We are not competitors with FreeLife, nor are we part of any other "miracle product" company. The only competition that we would like to encourage is that of your food dollars being wisely spent on a diverse diet of fresh organic, whole foods instead of believing in any miracle product as your source of vibrant health.
breathe This is our first review, and we ourselves did not know what a huge story we were getting into. We are starting to think our story could end up on 60 Minutes or some other news show, especially now because of the lawsuits involved. (We have already been approached by national media and will have more information on this later.) We're finding that the issues we've raised here are of great interest to the public, especially for health conscious consumers. Now back to the question that many people have asked us: "Why is your site only about FreeLife goji juice, and no other product?" Well, the answer is simple. That's just the way it happened! We were just minding our own business. We never tried to investigate any juice companies at all. We were just casually shopping at our natural foods store on Kauai when a FreeLife distributor approached us with patently false claims about Himalayan Goji Juice. That is what started the whole story. No other company has personally approached us to sell their juice as "raw and unheated" while we were casually shopping. What other companies are saying, we don't know, and we haven't investigated. We only know what FreeLife distributors told us. When we were told such nonsense claims by these FreeLife distributors - personally to our face in our natural foods store - well, that ignited a spark. On and off, it was the topic of conversation for weeks. We were simply shocked that distributors from such a big company would make such ridiculous claims in order to peddle their expensive juice. One thing led to another, and we eventually uncovered the truth. (Again, you can read our story from the beginning.) Once we confirmed the truth, we had a dilemma. Do we tell the world, or do we remain silent? One of us decided to post this site in order to get the truth out: that FreeLife distributors are marketing goji juice with boldly false and misleading claims. But then FreeLife threatened us with a lawsuit (details coming in our next update). We had a choice: to back down or to stand up for the truth. After much soul searching, we decided we could not back down, but had to stand up for truth and for health conscious consumers everywhere. This choice led to an enormous amount of work on our side, including legal activities. In fact, it is the lawsuits that have prompted us to investigate FreeLife and its distributors even more closely. This then uncovered even more shocking information that we then added to this site (with even more details coming soon). This site has grown enormously since we first started in September 2007. Had FreeLife not involved us in legal proceedings, we would have never given them a second thought. So the reason why this site is all about FreeLife goji juice? Well ... that's just the way it happened! We have jobs and live in the real world, and we don't want to make a career out of investigating all juice companies. Our hope is that consumers will learn from what we have exposed on this site and carefully weigh the claims of other similar companies. Originally, we intended to create reports on various companies in diverse areas of natural health. And in the future, we'd like to do so. We have other topics in progress. And we welcome consumers to send other stories to us for publication here. For now, all our focus is on FreeLife only. Later, when we can catch our breath, we will venture into other topics.
breathe Yes, Christian is his real name. Yet for now, we have chosen to keep most of our personal information private. Much of our work has been as undercover reporters. We may change our policy in the future. Meanwhile, we try to give you the facts so you can verify them for yourself.
